Our Programs

Over time, we’ve designed and adapted programs to meet the high standards of today’s world of education. By providing a supportive environment, we make sure each child receives exactly what they need. Curriculum will be guided by age-appropriate Massachusetts standards of knowledge and experiences in the following domains: Math, science, social studies, literacy/language, cognitive, physical (fine motor/gross motor) social-emotional, approaches to learning and creativity.

Infant Program

Our infant program provides a safe and, nurturing environment.  Children can thrive through physical play, sensory activities, music and movement, reading, and other activities which are based on curriculum developed from and aligned with the Massachusetts Early Learning Guidelines for Infants and Toddlers.

Teachers and parents can communicate throughout the day with the Procare app, which aids in the home-school connection.

Toddler Program

Our goal at ELA is to make each child feel valued and secure in their relationships and to help them express their independence, which makes them feel competent and proud of what they can do.

We teach children to communicate with a broad range of emotions through signs, sounds, and eventually words. They learn to express their feelings in appropriate ways. They also learn about other children’s feelings. They develop relationships with nurturing adults and demonstrate caring and cooperation.

Our toddlers learn about themselves through distinguishing their identity from other people and things and, making and expressing choices, preferences and decisions.

They focus on solving problems encountered in exploration and play. Learning about thinking skills is a valuable aspect of our toddler rooms. Each child will gain an understanding of basic concepts and relationships. They will be able to apply knowledge to new situations. They will also be able to develop strategies for solving problems.

Our toddlers will learn by moving and doing. They will develop gross motor skills as well as fine motor skills. They will learn to coordinate their eye and hand movements and develop self-help skills.

Teachers and parents communicate throughout the day with the Procare app, which aids in the home-school connection.

We have 3 toddler classrooms: Toddler 1, Toddler 2 and Toddler/Preschool.

Preschool Program

Our program enriches preschoolers’ love of learning by providing activities through play! Through individual exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, your child will participate in play centers in all areas of learning: Physical health and development, math skills, science/discovery, cognitive development, social-emotional development, language/literacy, and creative arts.  This is a key transition year from toddlerhood to a slightly more structured classroom experience. Preschool programs provide a balance of group activities, instruction guided by the teacher and interests’ children choose themselves. It is an opportunity to develop friendships, gain independence, self- help skills, and experience a setting with teachers and groups of children. Preschool is an opportunity for growth!
